Private alpha · version 0.1

Community Guidelines

These guidelines apply wherever creators interact through FanForge. Additional public-engagement controls remain disabled by default until their operational readiness gates are complete.

Keep the project at the centre

Respond to the work and question a creator chose to share. Appreciation and comments are not a popularity contest, a ranking signal or permission to access private Forge work.

Be useful and humane

Offer specific, respectful reflection. Disagreement is allowed; harassment, threats, humiliation, impersonation, spam and discriminatory abuse are not.

Protect privacy and creative ownership

Do not post personal information, private messages, confidential material or work you do not have permission to share. Do not pressure creators to publish more than they intended. Report copyright, attribution and privacy concerns privately.

Do not manipulate participation

Do not coordinate false appreciation, deceptive applications, repetitive promotion or artificial engagement. FanForge is a workspace around creative projects, not a follower or popularity system.

Moderation is deliberate

Where public comments are enabled, new visitor comments are held for Project Lead review. Leads may approve, hide or reject them. Reports are private and do not expose reporter identity publicly. FanForge may intervene where a Lead is implicated, unavailable or a wider safety or legal issue exists.

Reporting and review

Use the in-product report control where available, or contact Support. Include enough context to locate the material without unnecessarily repeating harmful or private content. A person affected by a moderation decision may ask Support for a review.

Consequences

Depending on severity and context, action may include a warning, hiding content, restricting a capability, removal from a Forge or suspension from the alpha. Serious or repeated abuse may result in permanent loss of access.

Alpha limits

Moderation is founder-run and does not provide continuous monitoring or emergency response. Public engagement remains disabled in production until email delivery, moderation ownership, escalation and retention procedures are approved.
