Private alpha · version 0.1

FanForge is pre-release software

The alpha is a working product, but it is still being tested. This notice sets realistic expectations without diminishing the care given to creator work.

What may change

Features, workflows, limits and presentation may change during the alpha. Some functions may be unavailable, withdrawn or reset where that is necessary to repair or secure the service. FanForge will avoid destructive changes where reasonably possible and will communicate material changes that affect testers or their work.

Availability and backups

Interruptions, defects and incomplete behaviour are possible. There is no alpha uptime commitment. Do not use FanForge as the only copy of irreplaceable manuscripts, artwork or production files, and keep your own recoverable source material.

Real work, real responsibilities

Work entered into FanForge is not demo data. Treat private Forge material, collaborator information and attribution records responsibly. Only upload material you are authorised to use and only publish material you are entitled to make public.

Access boundaries

An alpha invitation grants access to FanForge, not to another person’s Forge. Forge membership, roles, reviews and publishing authority are separate permissions. Do not attempt to discover or bypass private resources.

Feedback and support

Report defects through Send feedback when signed in, or use Support for account, privacy or safety matters. Feedback is valuable, but sending it does not guarantee a feature or deadline.

Ending participation

You can ask to leave the alpha at any time. FanForge may also pause or end access to protect the service, its creators or their work. Account closure and deletion requests are handled according to the Privacy information and the needs of durable collaboration records.

Before wider release

Commercial terms, detailed liability wording, final retention schedules, jurisdiction language and broader public-feature obligations remain under founder and qualified legal review.
